Upcycled Art Project –
Another break in work…but I’m back at it. The cold wintery lows haven’t helped either. everything has been taking thrice the time (maybe even more!) to finish up or dry up. I have been working on the designs meanwhile on my mac, at least somethings are running smoothly even in this cold weather. Purchased the paints yesterday. The man at the hardware shop had his doubts about a woman buying paints etc…what are you going to paint with these? he asked. Trays, I said. He was completely confused. 🙂
First layers of paint have gone onto the wood. By the end of this week, I hope to get the second layer on top on my upcycled art project. if only this weather will let up a bit. Help me out here mother nature! My favorite so far is the animal shapes I’ve cut and painted the borders a peachy pink. I tried to infuse some of my eco-whimsical attitude into these creations of handmade, upcycled and wooden products. These are all made out of rejected or repurposed wood pieces. They have been styled by decoupage craft.
Let’s see how long these babies take to come to life…
