This piece is a wooden jewellery & key stand made from reclaimed sheesham wood. The wood was sourced from discarded material and shaped by hand, keeping its original grain, texture, and imperfections intact. No attempt has been made to erase signs of age or previous use.
The upcycled stand can be used to hold all your jewellery & trinkets, or even your daily use keys, or items you want within reach. It can also exist on its own as a quiet surface, allowing the material itself to be the focus.
The wood has been cleaned, repaired where necessary, and finished using non-toxic, natural pigments and oils.
The process is intentionally slow. Each piece is worked on individually, allowing the material to guide the final form rather than forcing uniformity or perfection.
This object carries marks from its previous life.
These may include uneven edges, colour variation, small cracks, or surface texture.
These are not defects. They are signs of age, use, and repair, and are considered part of the finished work.
