I love upcycling and restoring wood and creating functional pieces with it. These artworks are not just stylish, unique and filled with stories but each one saves a tree. I’m not only trying to reduce the impact of my work on the environment, but also trying to offset the ecological cost of running an art-led business.

Circularity & Afterlife

– All Upcycld Art pieces can be returned to my studio for repair or upcycling into new products

– Allowed to biodegrade naturally due to non-toxic, biodegradable finishes.

Take-back Program

I invite customers to return Upcycld Art pieces – pieces with minor wear-tear are repaired, while more damaged ones are remade into new art objects.

Community & Engagement

Repair pledge: Any product returned will be repaired or remade into new products

Education: Promoting awareness of upcycling and natural finishes through workshops and ebooks

Reporting: I track and share how many Upcycld Art pieces are repaired, remade, and how much wood waste is diverted.

Environmental Benefits

Upcycld Art donates one Tree sapling, for each order completed on its online shop. I also encourage my patrons to buy more saplings for donation during the checkout process.
