This piece is a upcycled tray made from reclaimed sheesham wood {rose wood}. The wood was sourced from discarded material and shaped by hand, keeping its original grain, texture, and imperfections intact. No attempt has been made to erase signs of age or previous use.
The upcycled tray can be used as a tv tray, or hold small trinkets, jewellery, or a wall decor piece.
The wood has been cleaned, repaired where necessary, and finished using non-toxic, natural pigments and oils.
The process is intentionally slow. Each piece is worked on individually, allowing the material to guide the final form rather than forcing uniformity or perfection.
This object carries marks from its previous life.
