BIJOU – Every one of my handmade wooden jewelry piece is unique. It was made one at a time. It was entirely made by hand. This collection is created by combining natural materials like scrap wood of various kinds with handpainted Miniature Art, the unique and detailed craft of Wood Carving, Brass Inlay Work, and my own Photography & Graphic Design skills. Through this collection I have attempted to recreate functional art from nature and some very unique Indian folk art forms. These are not your ordinary pieces of jewelry though. I handmade them with a lot of love and passion, out of scrap wooden pieces and none of these were mass produced. These patterns sometimes are inspired by Indian miniatures, floral bouquets of nature, childhood memories, my various travels across the country and sometimes from tribal art forms.
